Reason is simple: I wanted to do it that way

Give yourself a challenge! Make a list of words that you want to put into your cloth design! Words that have nothing to do with each other and somehow combine them in an outfit!

Alright, guys,... Here it is... and I'm officially insane that I did this... OTL OTL OTL
This must be the most giant tutorial I ever wrote
My back hurts, my neck hurts, my fingers hurt but HELL YES I'M HAPPY AND SATISFIED! I kinda butchered Elliot's and Skye's design but... come on they are chibis!!
When I saw Elliot's design the very first time I was thinking right away 'They look as if they could be constantly fighting...' lol I don't know why, but making my charas fight each other all the time is a prove of my love for them xD POOR THEM!!!!
Ehem... LOL!!!!
Hope you enjoy~~~

Really good tutorial! It was a bit hard to read because of how it's laid out, but the information is all there.
It really helped, I'm definitely inspired to practive clothes now. I always drew really simple clothes, so when you were doing all the different things with the shirt, I was thinking 'isn't that a bit too much?' It turned out really well though.
:fave:

Problem was that DA doesn't accept files taller than 9999 pixels, and when step 2 was done I was at 9500 already xD So I had to change the layout -_________-; lol
Thanks~

Finally a tutorial that explains about clothes ornaments I always have a hard time trying to design something...that looks detailed and complicated, such as laces D: This tutorial gives me a few ideas of what can I do now...
I'm actually quite fond of...wild colours. My eyes enjoys the clashing of colours sometimes

Thanks, this is very helpful. ^^
Question though- what would be considered "natural" colors? Would that be like browns and greens and colors that are associated with nature? Sorry if I sound dumb. Colors/Color schemes are my major weak points. =.=;

Deamond-89 In reply to pokemon-elite [2010-01-02 12:51:01 +0000 UTC]
Natural colors are brownish, warm colors. Yellow and red are a good addition to them.
