I had this picture lying around in my room for awhile and I finally decided to just sit down and get it colored. The idea was to draw a futuristic pirate who, instead of having a peg leg and an eye patch and a hook had cybernetics! O_oI got the pose idea from some random picture somewhere. Sorry I don't remember where XD

Why do I have a feeling it was photoshopped from some Hatake Kakashi art? Please correct me, if I am wrong.

I've actually never watched naruto lol so I had to look up who the heck hatake kakashi was. Nah it wasn't photoshopped from some other picture of him but I DEFINITELY got the hairstyle from him/other characters with the same hairstyle. The cyborg-ness was inspired by fullmetal and the outfit was inspired by treasure island. The pose was a cool pose I saw somewhere that just had the blocked in stick figure that interested me so I jotted down a figure in the appropriately same position. Sorry I can't quite remember whereβI drew this picture a LONG time ago and have only just now gotten to coloring it. I think it's actually been about 3-4 years since I drew this. O_o

I do like your paintshop/photoshop skills, but I miss the colored pencils.

Yeah, it's so hard, though when it takes 4-5 hours longer and 5X more expensive.
Colored pencils were a big reason why I wasn't drawing anymore cause I just didn't have the time.

I second that, and I do appreciate them more. The only thing is, I'd rather color my pictures than not ever color my pictures. I have tons of inked black and white drawings everywhere, but no colored ones cause I don't have the time. Although, on the plus side, I still have the line arts of all my digital drawings so I can color those any time I want to
