Seriously I've had so much free time and it's amazing I never submit this much art !

It's been quite a while since I've done an entry This took forever I needed to remember how to 'show entry' Pretty pleased with how this turned out though ! This was not the original angle I wanted it to be but it kinda morphed it's way to this... not even mad

Getting back into the swing of things was gonna be tough for Riley, especially since it was freezing. Well, for her at least. She hadn't shown in forever and the last time she did it was steaming hot... apparently there was no nice in between. Everyone was happily walking around the beautiful snowy show grounds saying what an amazing day it was outside! It truly was a gorgeous day but alas, this Florida girl was not pleased.

Insomnia on the other hand was loving life! She was pawing at this weird white cold stuff and once she did manage to kick it up, the powdery substance flew into her nose! She quickly backed up and snorted probably about 65 times...not exaggerating. "Oh my gosh, Somni you're embarassing." Riley tried to collect the flustered mare while everyone around her stood perfectly still and watched the circus production. She was used to being the weird outcast anyway so what was new.

The announcer called her name, saying she was on deck and Riley nudged the mare forward. Somni was still trying to get snow out of her nose by tossing her head around like a psycho. Thank goodness we are allowed to warm up for a little bit or trying to get over a fence with her head all over the place would be like trying to jump a giraffe. Riley kissed and suddenly, Somni was back! She cantered excitedly around the ring and popped over the first jump with ease. Riley made a quick turn to the next large fence and Somni sped up to get the long spot and rocket launched over the larger fence.

"Good girl sweetheart! Good giiiiiirl!!" Riley pat the red mare on the neck and Somni jigged up to the gate. Somni finally had her head in the game and she was ready to give it her all!
