Le Dutchess !

I saw this picture and I HAD to draw it !! And since I've been so inactive lately I thought it would be good for me to submit something School first

Since Dutchess placed FOURTH in the Dressage Olympics, the barn is deciding to give the Olympic horses some time off to recoup and relax They worked very hard for their placings !

"You are SUCH a good horse." Melody patted her bay mare, admiring her natural beauty. "Although you could use a bath after that long ride home... ya nastay." The Olympic crew was back and they were glad to be home. The horses seemed to enjoy being home and it showed! They had that extra pep in their step and that sparkle in their eyes. The staff even noticed this behavior!

On the first day back, all three of the horses were put in their own pastures. They galloped and whinnied to each other as if saying I'm SO GLAD to be home!!!! The pranced around for a while and then settled down to graze, swishing their glossy tails back and forth, flicking away pesky flies. The ripped grass, swinging their big heads side to side, chomping away. Their ears flicked back and forth at the sound of rushing cars and the occasional bird. They were relaxed, comfortable, and home.

Sandra and Melody decided that these amazing horses needed that well deserved rest. After all, they were Olympic champions! And their first Olympics? It was unbelievable! These horses all had serious talent and it was obviously showcased in their last show. These three had definitely deserved this long hiatus!
