Description
Hooker ValleyNew Zealand
The scenery from Hooker Lake near Mount Cook is one of the wonders of the world in my opinion. I took a non traditional shot looking back toward the light while crossing the lake at thigh level - let's just say that the water is about as cold as you can get before it actually is ice but leg warmers and dive boots definitely made it bearable. I wouldn't advise doing this unless you're willing to get very cold or have the right gear to avoid getting frostbite or hypothermia!

The mountains look like they're on fire! I need to get out more I think. I can't believe things like this happen naturally!
