Description This started out as a gag addressing the current healthcare debate, but developed into something more generalized.

Here it is on my website.

First of all, I did not respond to your message... system glitch. Secondly, canning cartoons is for children. and finally, I have a very fine job... thank you very much. Then let's speak to your comment; Since you probably know nothing of American politics, mind your own business. The GOP and large numbers of independents love Palin for standing up to the fat cat bureaucrat, progressive socialists, that are destroying our nation. When the dominos start falling, I'm sure the Netherlands will come crashing down due to socialism.

Since I have a great job, good benefits, and a company car, .... stop taxing me to pay for people who don't want to get off their couch and get a job.

Congratulations on not using the word "liberal" for once.

I, too, believe unemployment is this high because people refuse to get jobs rather than, you know, crisis.

Didn't need to use liberal.... the bunch running the nation now are FAR left of liberal..... Karl Marx would be proud.

I, too, use buzzwords that insult my own intelligence (and/or that of the person I'm arguing with) in order to make a point seem stronger.

wtf...? did you even understand the message in the cartoon? :/
the rich republicans are the selfish ones for refusing to pay small taxes that will ultimately go to the welfare of others, not the liberals. Did you bother to look into the healthcare bill and where the tax money would go? I'd would go to helping an uninsured mother pay for her baby's medical costs.
Your ignorance (and ironically, selfishness) is astounding.

Your ignorance of the tax code comes from someone who obviously has never had a job. Where to begin with your ignorance. Let's start with the fact that "Small Taxes????" Are you kidding me? 38% of what I earn goes to the federal government. And since this congress won't act, that rate goes UP even without the new healthcare bill. Add to that, sales tax, city wage tax, state tax, property tax, auto tax, fuel tax, etc.... Where does it end? How much will make you liberals happy?

Then your ignorance is appalling concerning healthcare. Every state in the US has a form of CHIPS program or children's aid for healthcare .... ALREADY.... WITHOUT ANOTHER STUPID BILL. So your example of "helping an uninsured mother pay for her baby's medical costs" ... shows you know nothing about the healthcare system. That could be because you're not even an American....

So before you claim to know what your talking about.... get a job, pay taxes at the rates we're paying, and then maybe you'd know enough to enter the debate. Until then.... mind your own business

LOL the irony.

I have a job. I also live in a country where we have free, universal healthcare. Where we have many socialist-style institutions. And guess what? the quality of life in my country exceeds that of your own.

Look it up if you don't believe me.

Do you realize, the "healthcare tax" is only a small tax that in turn will ensure you free, unconditional treatment, as well as every other American - just the same as in Canada. You are incredibly selfish, and quite frankly, pretty dumb, if you don't want to pay something as trivial as that and think it will have significant detrimental effects on the economy

LOL
well someone was bound to point out his bafoonery sooner or later.
The sad thing is, he's far from the only person who believes such bullshit. In fact, I think close to half of all Americans share his view, or something very similar.

I was cruising on Youtube the other day, and some guy actually blamed Ann Coulter's stupidity on Liberalism and liberals.
and he was absolutely serious.

wtf is the world coming to.

682 statehouse seats move from Democrat to Republican
15 Governors seats move from Democrat to Republican
The House of Representatives has the second largest shift in history.... Democrat to Republican
The Senate loses seats to become a near equal margin....
That's called an historic transition of power.

Hummmm.... I think you might want to reconsider your position. Leftists are headed toward the ash heap of history.
Time for you liberals to let go of your delusions.

Socialism has never worked .... ever. ... anywhere.

First of all, that only means Americans are stupid. The average American voter is ignorant and doesn't know much about politics to begin with, and they usually vote for politicians who don't support anything they do. Also, news outlets such as Fox indoctrinate and fabricate stories to scare the public into voting conservative. This is seen time and time again. Notice how liberals don't do this as much.

Second of all, liberal =/= socialist. Clearly you do not know the meaning of socialism, or liberalism for that matter.
Do you know what Liberal and liberalism means? it's "free from bigotry, bias, ignorance; open minded, etc"
Maybe you should go look it up.

Socialism has never worked? clearly you don't know much about history either. Please look into Yugoslavia. They had a successful Socialist government before ethnic tensions tore apart the country.
but regardless, we are NOT talking about socialism here. You seem to think Liberals have a socialist agenda. Being on the left does NOT make you a socialist. So you don't know much about the political spectrum either, do you?

So not only do you not know shit about liberalism or socialism, or the political spectrum, but you're also ignorant to history.

Ignorance and bigotry is dangerous.

Sorry... I thought I was talking to an adult. Since you're obviously just a kid.... I'll let your little rant slid. Talk to me in 20 years. And by the way, I have an earned doctorate and know a little bit more about history than some indoctrinated child from a minor league country.

Oh really? I don't recall ever telling you my age. You assuming again? right, because that's what you do well. Assuming shit you know nothing about.

I've lived 20 years in a country with the exact form of healthcare you keep ranting and raving about, yet ironically, don't know anything about at the same time.

I've gone through the system, I pay my taxes. It's an efficient system and I'd much rather have it than anything else.

You haven't even experienced this system. Go in and have free treatment and then come talk to me.
