Description
Apparently I draw zombies well with quite a lot of ease. Who knew? This cartoon got quite a bit of traffic on my website thanks to Reddit and Stumbleupon... unfortunately, that didn't keep up longer than a couple of days.
I think I may make a habit of posting editorial cartoons here a few days/maybe a week after they show up on my cartoon blog, so if you wanna see stuff when it's fresh, go here .
This particular cartoon can be found in its native environment right here .

Very interesting. XD Though according to my U.S. Government teacher, contrary to popular belief, the President doesn't actually affect the business cycle/wave much, so hey... If the economy's better by 2012, I guess the President'll get credit for it? XD

His policies don't affect the business cycle as much as the general public thinks. The economy will go up and down forever, regardless of who's in the White House. The only major exception, really, was President Franklin Roosevelt in the Great Depression. It's just President Obama's bad luck that the economy happened to be heading downward when he took office.

I'd do it, just so we can invade Canada

Everyone knows that Canada is just a suburb of Detroit and that's why no one goes there.

Well, come to think of it, I'd do it to improve relations with the Islamic nations (personal priority). Not that I'm sure I meet Constitutional requirements -born a U.S. citizen but not on U.S. ground- and I might not be President material, but hey, we can dream. XD

Why do you think we need to and/or can improve relations with anyone seeking our destruction?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
StrayClanLeader In reply to MasterOfPointillism [2010-11-13 07:29:06 +0000 UTC]
Because "improved relations" sort of implies the absence of a wish for destruction, does it not? What, you'd rather be at war than settle issues peacefully? It's entirely possible; take the Cold War as an example. I'll bet no one back then ever imagined friendliness with Russia; yet here we are, with no more Cold War. Obviously it'll take some effort on their part as well. Fortunately, the maniacs over there represent a minority, like America's K.K.K. did/does. Unfortunately, they're just as out of control as the K.K.K. was in the post-Civil War era. Gonna take some time to smooth this one over. XD Just like when the U.S. was in hysterics over the spread of "communism" (which was actually socialism, since it included governments, unlike communism, which has no government and has never been put into practice, but that's entirely beside the point... XD).
My only point being, I'd rather not have any countries snarling at each other like rabid dogs. X3

Well I don't think the United States needs to have better relations with Mulsim nations. Not until they start allowing freedom of speech, end the honor killings and arrainged marriages, and stop whining about how the world is "anti-Islam".
But I would still invade Canada
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
StrayClanLeader In reply to EbolaSparkleBear [2010-11-13 07:09:17 +0000 UTC]
Aha, but bad relations with them won't help that. Pressures from foreign nations will only make them more fiercely "we do things our way", and having grown up over there, I can say that with absolute certainty. I don't like it, but I know it, 'cause I know those people. And... it's not like Western civilization never had arranged marraiges or always had freedom of speech, and they didn't have to deal with superpower nations looming over them, shouting at them to get their acts together. X3
So... what did Canada ever do the U.S.? XD Just out of curiosity.

I don't think Canada did anything. BUT they're a lot closer then Afghanistan, so we'll save fuel on the bombing runs.
