This is a cartoon I did a few weeks ago on Congress choosing not to repeal enormous tax breaks for oil companies. I did research on various oil executives and planned on including them in the cartoon, but then I decided giving the figures logos for heads would be easier for most people to recognize without any additional labels.I do wish I'd included 76 in here, because Conoco-Phillips (along with Exxon) is noticeably missing.

Probably one of the only things I agree with you on: we donβt need to subsidize oil companies, or any company for that matter. Then again, knowing you, you probably supported the economic stimulus and bank bailouts, which were basically the same thing.

Oil barons are all too dull-looking to caricature anyway.

It's true that they all seem to be ugly, old white guys, but "ugly" means there's still a lot of interesting caricature variety. Exxon used to have a (CEO, I think) who looked like some kind of goblin designed by Jim Henson's creature shop.
Most of them look as greedy and evil as they'd have to be to have that job in the first place, but most people wouldn't recognize 'em 'cause there isn't an America's Most Wanted for white-collar criminals.
