Thanks to all those tumblr people who seem to be mysteriously contemplating the humor of seeing GLaDOS get wasted, I had to do my own version. XDIn my headcanon, her android is built to emulate human behavior as well as it can - crying, laughing, etc. I figure an Inebriation Emulator was included in the blueprints. >_>
So here she is, testing it out before its big debut at New Year's Eve. I can safely tell you her Aperture is going to be flat out of liquor long before said holiday. -_- Wow, what a load of scientific fun. I just hope she doesn't do something too stupid when drunk...like letting Wheatley back in or something.
GLaDOS is copyright to Valve. So is Portal.

There needs to be pictures of GLaDOS interacting with the evil AI that undoubtedly helped inspire her creation. Knowing GLaDOS she'd probably mock SHODAN's trademark stuttering speech mercilessly.

Oh I agree. She'd be brutal to SHODAN's voice because hers is just so perfectly and precisely turned out and modulated.
I'll get to it eventually. I'm still trying to figure out how they'd interact. Heh.
But yes, definitely can see a butt-hurt SHODAN being mocked by GLaDOS for the stuttering. Riiight about before she decides to use one of her cyborgs to punch out GLaDOS' optic, or the orbital laser to put a hole in Aperture. Heh.

You need to draw more SHODAN. She was a malevolent and witty AI before it was cool. She's basically a hipster GLaDOS. Both of those options are funny, but it'd be even funnier to have SHODAN use her wit against her. She'd probably insinuate that all the fat jokes GLaDOS made against Chell suggest that GLaDOS is secretly ashamed of her weight. And have you ever thought about drawing a humanized HAL from 2001?

Oh, I've got plans for SHODAN. Lots more plans. Don't you worry one little bit. I've got to get past this July 4th hump at work, then I'll be making much more System Shock art. Also PFFTTTT SHODAN calling GLaDOS out on her BS is comedy gold. I've had that in mind for a while but yeah. Oh I had one for Hal a while back but some computer crash wiped him. He was partly inspired by someone's 60s-dude rendition of him, and David from Prometheus. Seriously I hate that movie, but I love David. He seemed so much like a humanized Hal 9000 it almost hurt. XD

That sounds great, and I hope you can reconstruct it. I hope to see some new images after the SHODAN image macros. I'd really like to see HAL get some love in your art. It's ironic that you said David is HAL-like, because the actor playing David said he used HAL as inspiration., as well as the android characters from the Alien franchise.
