Description
This is my first Friesian, and I am actually very satisfied with him.
It first, I shied away from the blackness of the coat ("Aw, I'll have to get into my dark tones so much..."), but I found that Friesians have this incredible high gloss that is just so much fun to draw. What do you think - good first effort? Here's the ref: [link]

Wow this is so beautiful! I do love how dark you managed to push those shadows and the highlights are gorgeous. The mane and tail look lovely as well.

This is beautiful! I could see you pushing some of the dark areas a little darker to bring out the gloss a little more, but you've still achieved wonderful definition and sense of power and strength
