Description
"These fierce little creatures spray sticky fluid from their feet so they can move along the floor or up and down walls. There are two kinds: red zoomers and less powerful yellow zoomers."-Metroid Manual, 1986.
Biological Record 001: Zoomer
Upon entering Brinstar, it appeared, like the planet’s surface, to have a dearth of life. However, it became increasingly apparent that creatures, larger than I was expecting, are inhabiting this place. One of the first organisms I ran across was a spindly multi-legged creature, with an impenetrable carapace completely covered in thorn-like growths. They seem to feed off of nothing but the micro-organisms floating in the air, and though relatively slow and docile, become very defensive when approached. Despite having a frame, on average, of around three feet in diameter, a strong, sticky substance secreted through the pads of their feet allows them to scale walls and ceilings with slow precision and ease.

I'm not sure if this makes any sense but this really looks itchy to look at.
I guess it had something to do with all those tiny little spikes and thorns on the said creature or the color scheme you picked.
But still, good job!

Y E S . fantastic sir. Absolutely fantastic. The sea-spider-like look really fits the kind of enemy this is; kind of neat, but your still going to systematically wipe out any and all in the shaft your in. I would never have thought to do that, I always thought they would look like crabs. Can't wait to see the rest!

Thanks a ton! I always thought the original Zoomers looked a tad too Mario-ish, if that makes sense, thought it'd be fun to change it up a bit!
