Description
Because !lyra-puu asked for it and I was asked in my blog as well some time ago. It's just a quick way to add color to your random doodles in SAI.
I have no idea if it could be replicated in other programs, so don't ask.
Enjoy :3

Oh, thank you!
I was looking for something like this!
Though I don't really want to use it for quick colouring, I'm hoping to build on the techniques you've shared to find a little bit of a painterly feel in SAI.
Thank you~! <3

Q paja traducirlo >>;;
Hum...
Y asΓ le sigues, click-click-click-click. Y eso es todo.
Aprenda inglΓ©s si estΓ‘ en un sitio en inglΓ©s, pues! xDDD

I tested this technique in the SAI, I loved it! with a little care, patience and practice, it can imitate watercolor, using a bit of Ol Wate helps to soften the splashed edges. congratz

I really ought to try SAI out sometime. I keep hearing so much good about it...
At the risk of sounding like a n00b/twit, how steep is the learning curve, if there is one? Is it an easy transition from photoshop?
π: 0 β©: 1
DejiNyucu In reply to ZaidaCrescent [2009-11-14 23:10:45 +0000 UTC]
I used Photoshop for more than ten years before using SAI, and I found it really easy :3
I searched for some tutorials here on dA and experimented on my own, and in no time I was having lots of fun coloring things :3

Oh awesome. :3
I think I'll give it a try. It's surprisingly cheap, for how popular it is...
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it!
