DeviantArt wasn't notifying my watchers about this so I'm posting it again!
All I wanna do is listen to my music! You know you've got those songs on your iPod or whatever and you relate/related to them at some stage and they basically convey your thoughts better than you probably were able to at the time.
Like they're reading your mind
And you're like YES SOMEONE GETS IT. I know I get a lot people saying that about my poems, that they relate a lot and thats how I get with music too
I'mma write a song at some stage, got the guitar just need the words haha

I listen to my mp3 player at school (at break time), while walking home, at home and at night (when I`m sleeping)

Heh, I have my iPod in almost 24/7, unless I'm in the shower, in lectures or in bed. XD
If you asked me what my most 'meaningful' song was, the one I'd probably pick would be 'Roll Away Your Stone' by Mumford and Son- especially for these lines:
"You told me that I would find a hole,
within the fragile substance of my soul;
and I have this void with things unreal
and all the while my character it steals...
Darkness is a harsh term, don't you think?
Yet it dominates the things I see."

Sometimes it almost feels scary, when I listen to a song that depicts (not just in words, but also in the f e e l of the song) everything I'm going through or what I believe to be true. It is in those moments that I get the same epiphany over and over again - We are all connected. <3

I wonder what people would think if they put deeper meaning to the tracks I love to listen to, they'd think I'm crazy I guess... because there is like rap, classical music, rock, pop, trance etc. all of the stuff there...

As they say, if you want to know everything about a girl just listen to her favorite song. Or in my case, go into my iTunes and check the playlist titled 'Top 25 Most Played' and take a listen. Those 25 songs say everything there is to know about me if you know how to read between the lines and find all the meaning in them.

I love this, because I honestly do have to say that I have on my iPod a list of songs that I listen to for artistic inspiration. It does feel good sometimes to just plug in and tune out the world, just to listen to someone who gets it. I hope that your endeavors with music are successful. Peace.
