My wife, Rachel, asked me to draw something βcuteβ this morning. The closest I could muster was Samus kicking Metroid ass on Zebes.Original for sale at my store!

I think Simon Belmont from Castlevania would be a great choice! I always loved the old Castlevania games. I also have always loved Banjo & Kazooie too. Those are from the Nintendo 64, so not as classic, but still super cute and fun. They are characters that I always wanted to give hugs and kisses almost as much as the Gorons!
Those are the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head, but if I think of others, I will add them!

Can you believe I never played Banjo & Kazooie? I only owned 2 games during the N64 era, or as I also like to call it, the "Derek was obsessed with music and being in bands" era.

It was a great game! One of my favorites of all time. Only 2 came out, then Nintendo sold Rare to Microsoft. I wasn't real happy, since that meant Banjo & Kazooie was owned by Xbox.
