Description
Officially, not the most aesthetically pleasing piece I ever made, but still qualifies for a #TinyTuesday daily drawing. I really wanted to draw a flower so I picked these ones as they are small and pretty. I don't have a favorite flower, but I like bouquets made of a mix of wildflowers, as they seem joyful, less 'arranged' into displays. What are your favorites? Maybe there are some I have never drawn before...

Yeah, I know, I like it too for the same reason... In my language, the name corresponds to the one in English and I wonder how it came about. Usually, names are associated with legends about the plants...

Its name corresponds to the one in English in a lot of language (in French too). It seems to me that there is various legends and stories on this flower. Maybe they were related in several languages and the name was passed on like that... I don't know.

Wildflowers are the real flowers. Like ladies without a makeup. The real beauty.

No no, there is nothing wrong with that of course. But whether you like that look or not, it is, at the end of the day, created through an artificial process, similarly as with the flowers that have been bred to be more colourful. But I do believe that the natural look of either flowers or ladies is the more beautiful one, even though the conventional standards of beauty might be, and often are, different.

Yeah, they are... but they are so tricky to draw... I should try drawing them again, but when I tried it before it took me a really long time and the effort didn't show in the result, I think.

I like flower motif designs, but flowers themselves, I'm not a fan. They're lovely to look at, but that's about it. I understand people send flowers as a gesture of goodwill, but I always find them impractical gifts. Also, lovely work!

Yeah... my partner always tells me that if he would buy me flowers the cat would end up intoxicated and the house would be made into a mess... and I think you are both right. They are impractical, but I still find them pretty.
