Description
Since you guys seem to enjoy Food drawings and Tutorials the most, I thought I should start a new personal project and use each new drawing (of food, of course...) as a pretext to tell you something new about my process. I intend to tell you more about how I use layers and colors and about the steps I take to get to the final drawing. From now on, I will post daily, first the drawing, then the tutorial connected to it. If on some days I have too little time, I will only post a drawing and skip a 'tutorial day'. However, I hope this will not happen too often.
I count on you to let me know what you would like to learn next, so that I can prepare some explanations for you. This whole endeavor relies heavily on your feedback, so please let me know if I am going too fast or not explaining things well enough. Although I am not a professional illustrator and even less qualified as a teacher, I hope I will manage to offer you some useful information. Wish me luck!

Your tutorial is a massive help! Thank you so much! It would be nice to see how to paint the glossy appearance of an object or paint liquid material

Noted, I will try to come up with something on that matter. Just know that I don't have a clear consistent method... yet. ) I have never thought about it before.

I think there are many aspects to the process of drawing itself, and particularly to drawing food that one can learn about. I can't teach you in one go how to make nice looking food drawings. I need to show you some techniques and the logic you need to follow to get there. Sorry, I couldn't make things more compact, but I hope this still helps you improve your techniques.

That's okay, it's as good as it gets and it depends on the style! It's amazing either way!

Most digital drawing software operates in similar ways to Photoshop. I don't know all the software out there, but as far as I managed to test out, many operate in similar ways.

Here is a resource for Photoshop. www.adobe.com/products/photosh… You need to create an account and log in. Or look up the brush collection of Kyle T. Webster, maybe you can find these from another source.
Or send me a message at designing.lua@gmail.com, maybe I can find a way to help you with some brushes. Do you use Photoshop or something else?
I don't use much of these brushes. I usually find a brush and customize it a bit, to match the texture I want to achieve, and then I use brush strokes. It can be a huge time saver. Do you want a tutorial on customizing brushes? I think there are a million out there already...

I am not really familiar with that software. Do you know what the extension of the brush files is? Maybe it's still compatible with Photoshop.
