Using a shard of broken window she cuts the butterfly from her dress, giving it the life and freedom she could only dream of...Been working on this one for a while... I quite like how it turned out mostly. I know the BG perspective is off because while I was drawing it I taught myself proper 1 point, hopefully I can implement that better in another picture. It was really fun playing with lighting and making the character lit with the secondary light which has bounced up off the floor from the window stream.

Oh, I have no way to describe how beautiful this piece is... I with I could put into words how much this speaks to me! It's so sorrowful... The girl seems to have a bitter sweet feeling, as if she was so glad that she could help the butterfly escape whatever her fate was to be... Ah, wonderful job!

Absolutely love it! The light was a very nice touch and definately gives a sense of freedom from darkness.
