You can easily add your own links to tab menus in the "Skin Footer" panel of your skin editor ("Edit -> "Edit skin").
* I left it blank so they go no nowhere by default.

You can also remove the pencil from the notebook
by deleting the < /a> tags in "Skin Header" panel of your skin editor....

I'd recommend sticking in a max-width, just because it ends up really, really wide on my screen

that's fine, it's ok to have it streched, I have big monitor too
filling it with content will change the aspect ratio and there is also a min-height added by default too.

Really lovely Skin! The best one I've seen in a while. Now I really regret not having a bigger monitor to display 3 thumbs per row that would fit on Profile too...

Unless you find ("Edit" -> "Edit skin" -> "Skin CSS") this line in your editor :
.journalbox .journaltext img {}
...and add these parameters in the bracket:
.journalbox .journaltext img { width:100px; height:100px; }
