ok enzu, I just tried to make ur name shorter somehow
it is a very difficult way to create a tutorial, not like when u make screenshots...
only limited techniques are accepted or supported in .atn etc.

Unfortunately, the action does not create anything but it's otherwise a really good idea! :>

Have you followed the instructions?
The .psd file must be opened (and active) first then you click the action.

No, I use CS5, should I rather use CS4? :>

I don't think that would be the solution
Just tested in CS5 also, works perfect (Mac + Win)
I would suggest to read the instructions more carefully...

It is because my Photoshop is a German version! This I have just found out on closer examination!

detrans In reply to PhilippIllgen [2010-11-23 17:14:52 +0000 UTC]
yes, that could be the problem!
with the english version the first locked layer is called: Background
with your version maybe this word is in German: Hintergrund (?)
in this case double-click the locked layer and change its name to: Background
and then use the action...
or maybe this won't work either, since all the menus are in German
and all the action commands uses English menus
well, it is worth a try...
