Seriously, you're  just using using a staedler fine liner to ink? I thought you use nibs, or do you use those too?

Mostly am just using a .1 pen.....prisma or steadtler or microns....I literally have hundreds, lol. I find the more abused they are, the more nib like lines I can throw. I break the new pens in on the fine lines and details. Do my fills with a brush pen.

And they reproduce well? I guess whoever scans the final artwork can make adjustments in case there's inconsistencies in the solid blacks?

Depends on the paper I suppose. Yes, I do add adjustments in PS to get a cleaner black for my uploads.
