I'm not the one to ask, I'm only a fan not a developer. MonacledPotato, MrModez Pineapple and CrystalFissure are likely the best sources for all things Spring Savannah related. They have youtube accounts and also discord servers that discuss the game.

I liked Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and still played on it very much. It was one of my favorite Spyro main series games when I was from a little kid to this.
