Ladies & Gents , My Third favourite x_men villain ever!Victor & Logan should never be related! Never! The reason behind the feud is that Sabretooth doesn't want to kill Logan. He wants to torment him. He wants to make Wolverine feel like sloppy seconds. He wants to take away every bit of Wolverine's happiness. He wants to ruin any good thing Wolverine puts together in life. He wants to make Wolverine's life a living hell. Why? Because it's sweet honey for him , that's why! it just makes Sabretooth deliciously evil!

-Frank Tieri in the weapon X series & the Logan files (the moment he appears before Logan, PERFECTION!)
-Larry Hama who gave him the name Victor Creed (" Death Hunt")
-Lobdell & Nicieza (look I don't give a fuck what the so-called true fans say , these 2 writers made me warm up to the X-men, therefore ... any of the times he was locked in the mansion)
-Greg Rucka (the return of the native! It was the last time Logan had a personnality & Victor was PERFECT!)
-Dan Jolley (Mary Shelley Overdrive or what happens when Creed falls in love? a lot of bad stuff to others, A LOT!)

The fifth one is a mix between what he wore during the Rucka run + the Brown coat he had by skinning a Wendigo. The skulls at the belt are a personnal addition, & glad to see fans who remember what a great nightmare Victor is .

I think Sabertooth is just too proud to admit that Wolverine might actually be able to best him in a one-on-one fight, so he torments him to remind him that no matter how good the ol' canuklehead gets, Sabertooth will STILL be a little bit better...

Heh ! The scariest thing is that Creed is more dangerous when he's desperate . Even when he's pushed to the limit, he still manages to be fucking scary! There's the "What If 87: Sabretooth screams in the night" where Jubilee manages to kill him... & trust me it's not funny at all. When you see him burnt & rabid , the Freddy Kruger similarity is glaring, & the issue ends with a really sad way , Jubes might have trapped & offed him but the way you see how she sits traumatised by that, oh God...

I think that has more to do with who he was before his transformation. His Obsession with that comes from the loss of his first son, something Nathaniel never forgave himself for. this is why he always seeks genetic perfection, deepdown he wants to repair a mistake that was never his, causing a tragedy that will partially be his fault...

I wish Sabretooth as an archnemesis for Wolverine; now without him around, Wolverine (as comic and character) has become quite stale.
And I cannot stand Daken as Wolverine's "son", I think Daken works better as just a random mutant (without donning Wolverine costume) or maybe as an apprentice for Sabes (he's more rapist than Sabretooth IMO, he would be tormenting prisoners with his 'advances' since he has pheromone powers besides the usual healing factor and claws).

In every universe where Logan and Victor have been together, (1) if they're enemies, they're at each other's throats, (2) if they're allies, no one can stop them, (3) when they have a falling out, it's practically World War III.
Even putting my disgust aside, Daken seems pretty tame and "normal" to me. & the bisexuality felt gimmicky. He's a kid, angry at his father who he blames for the death of his mom. His goal is to end his old man's life.
Victor however, doesn't want to kill Logan. He wants to torment him. He wants to make Wolverine feel like sloppy seconds. He wants to take away every bit of Wolverine's happiness. He wants to ruin any good thing Wolverine puts together in life. He LOVES to make Wolverine's life a living hell.
Sabretooth is intelligent and cunning, masking this trait of his behind a facade of being nothing more than a stupid animal so that he can strike when he wants to. He is resistant to psychic attacks and other mental conditioning, either faking their effects on himself or bouncing back from their effects given a period of time.
Sure, he may not have any emotion-controlling pheromones to use and he's not about to let anyone give it to him from behind, but does he really need to? Isn't it more frightening that Sabretooth doesn't need a biological mating cheat to turn people against themselves and against one another? (hence why I always see him as close to Hannibal Lecter.He knows how to get into people heads.)

Reading your scenario of how Schism should act out makes me laugh so hard. Other than the real Apocalypse ending the stupidity, I would love to see Sebastian Shaw coming back from Limbo (not Hell's Limbo) to find his beloved Hellfire Club in shambles and then catching the Hellfire Bratty Kids and giving them humiliating treatment by spanking them (or anything worse than death) instead of killing them.
