Beautiful portrait! You have know idea how much my generation loved this man- his poetry inspired the ' hippie' movement. Now he's old and kind of remembered. It took them long enough to give him a Noble prize- good for him for not showing up to receive it- a rebel to the end! A beautiful writer! Thank you for drawing such a wonderful portrait of him!

Thank you very much, Mrs. Kauffman. Quite often now, to be honest, I envy your generation, especially the ideals your generation fought for, the role models, heroes, even villains you had. I find the current age mostly lacking in these regards.

Thank you very much! One of the few portraits that I actually enjoyed drawing, to tell you the truth.
