This thoroughly creeped me out... But I mean that in a good way! XD This piece is very unique and original. I can't say I've seen another one like it. I especially like the color palette you chose; primarily greens, greys, and pale tans. It gives it an atmosphere of sickness to me. It kinda makes me think of what might happen to a person in a sci-fi movie you was unfortunate enough to come into contact with nuclear waste. Some people might even interpret it as kind of zombie-esque or even alien... I don't know what it is about this piece, but I can't stop looking at it! There's just so much to look at and analyze. I don't think I would really suggest anything be changed in this, it all seems to work together fine to me. I guess the only thing I might suggest would be to darken the background just a bit to make your subjects stand your even more All in all, this piece is great and you did a wonderful job. Keep up the great work!

Wow, thank you very much for the amazing feedback - this is the sort of reward I'm (secretly) looking toward when creating a new piece, to be honest. I am very flattered, really, thanks a lot!
About the background - XD it used to be a sickly pink that I used as an overall tonal compass for the rest of the piece and I was two steps away from leaving it as it was before deciding to go for a more nuanced background, I can see that it would definitely benefit from going a tad bit darker, thank you very much!

You're very welcome! It's always nice to get feedback from others I think you made a good decision on the background change, and honestly, I think it's still fine as it is. I was just being nitpicky because there's really nothing to complain about in this piece XD Really great work! Keep it up!

This picture puts me in mind of Bosch and Dali. I'm not sure what your roots are, but if that was your inspiration, spot on ^_^

The color palette you chose is as disturbing as the images - primarily greys and greens- put me in mind of sickness. The cavernous, shadowy face of the figure on the left would be enough to draw the eye, but the addition of tiny men leaning out the windows of his eyes makes me think of lurking things, thoughts and desires leering out at the world. The faces on his hands are equally terrifying, the leftmost looking the way I felt when  I first saw this picture, and the one on the right more shocked to blankness.

The right hand figure is like a man riding a man. If you meant to put some philosophy behind that, I'd be curious to hear it. It made me think of being controlled by desires, both inherent and separate from the self. His small, phallic head looks surprised, and that on its own made me look twice. The tiny almost vestigial legs hanging where arms should be are a nice touch.

I'm no art critic and I'm not sure what your intention was when painting this, but I think it's quite good. I wouldn't want it hanging over my bed, but I'd sure stop and think about it in any gallery space. I hope you keep painting ^_^ Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you! Dali and Bosch are both great inspirations for me, especially the latter. Your analysis is quite on spot, to be honest. I like to leave the interpretation of my paintings to the viewers, to be honest, going with impulses when sketching and completing them in one sitting, so that I have no time to change my mind and shoehorn any afterthoughts about the message I'd want to put in or anything of the sorts, trusting that my subconscious mind has some things to say on its own.
And, to be honest, it scares me just as much as anyone.
Thank you for your amazing feedback, it really means a lot!

Thanks you very much, Mrs. Kauffman. Let me tell you the truth - haven't enjoyed working on a piece for quite a while now before I decided to do this one.
