Description
Here's my first official Photoshop tutorial! It shows you how to easily remove a white background from an image, so you have a transparant (0% opacity) background.
NOTE: If you can't access Blending Options, your layer is probably locked. Just duplicate the layer, and delete the old (locked) one. You'll be able to edit the Blending Options of this new layer without any problems!

Does this work for Photoshop version 3.0? Mine doesn't seem to be able to have the Blending Options, and I'm not on a locked layer ><

Very nice. Great work on this tutorial. As some advanced critique I'd suggest that you perhaps put some examples of other images in and I'd also like to know if the 'Blend if: (box: Gray)' has any influence on this. (or if you can do this with any other colours).

Handig, maar het heeft niet altijd een super resultaat. Er moet echt een contrast zitten tussen de afbeelding en het achtergrond. Anders gaan er ook delen van het middelste verdwijnen

Great tutorial... I haven't tried it out yet. But I've recently tried making an tutorial on some manipulation and I thought it was really hard to set up, I think I might make alteration in mine before putting in on the net. But you have done great!!!

I'm thinking of making it as a PDF file.... I have rather much text on it and the images need to be modified.... it is a working progress. It is my first tutorial ever....
