Description
The Machine Empire Royal Family was retrieved by Machine Empire scouts and sent away for rebuilding. This meant a Gault on their invasion of Earth, giving Lord Zedd and Rita a new chance to pick up where they'd left off.
They summon their forces and launch a massive assault, destroying the Zeo Megazords. The Zeo Command Center is damaged as well, even Alpha sustains some minor damage.
Lord Zedd laughs with evil glee as he watches his monsters rampage on Earth, totally overwhelming the Rangers.
Suddenly, Rita approaches him, a worrisome look in her eyes.
Lord Zedd knows what's happening. He calls off the assault and retreats back to the moon. The Rangers are exhausted, and very confused. They return to the ruins of the Command Center.
Alpha is barely functioning, his armor plating is cracked and hanging loose from his frame. Adam does his best to help him, using some spare parts to fix him up. "I wish Billy was still here." The others get Zordon online. Once Zordon is activated, he informs the Rangers of why Zedd and Rita stopped their current attack.
"I had feared this day would come." Zordon tells the Rangers that he had detected a surge in the Morphin Grid, a new powerful being was about to be born, he suspects it to be Rita and Zedd's child!
