I don't really care. I mean, it doesn't really matter to me, since immortality isn't that big of a deal in my opinion. You're guaranteed to lose a friend or family member or whatever in life at some point, and whether you're mortal or not won't make it any more or less sad, the sadness eventually fading away anyway.
