Yay! At long last, I've got another issue of Quarter Circle Punch up. Ah, my money maker. Now I'm not choosing sides here, as both systems are out of my price range at the moment, but I took a look at the PS3 advertisements on youtube the other day. And I can upon this one. [link]It's basically 2 minutes and 12 seconds of BS and bragging. then ending off by posing the question- is the PS3 smarter than you? Really now, it's a video game system. I personally won't care if everything looks like they claim it will, as long as the games are fun to play.

Well, bare in mind that this comic was written in 2006. Now a days the PS3 has gone down drastically in price and gives a steady stream of great games. Many of which are exclusives. The Wii is less concerned with making stellar games these days and more concerned with marketing itself as a weight loss tool for middle-aged housewives.

Really? I find that kind of surprising given that the PS3 and XboX are the two consoles that flagship any and all big budget triple-A game releases. The Wii used to try to play along by releasing their own dumbed-down versions of big console releases, but now Nintendo doesn't even do that anymore. The way I see it, Nintendo realizes that the Wii cannot compete with the big brother consoles and now markets it as a way for bored housewives to lose weight while shifting their focus on the portable game market where they can still give tough competition against easier opponents. But that's just the way that I see it.

Yeah, that pisses me off. I have lots of Ps2 games sitting around since my PS2 broke and I still can't play them. Yet, I can play my old PS1 games. So that doesn't make sense.

Well I have both systems and every other next gen gaming platform out there, (Excluding xbox) and between the two systems I would have to say that they're both really good, while I feel PS3 is more of a solo playing system ment for a more advance gamer, the Wii is more of a multi-player platform, which is more for the everyone type player....
Each has their up's and downs which make them pretty equal, while PS3 has the by far best visual graphics, the Wii is the most interactive system out, as far as I'm concern each have awesomely fun games to play, it really would have to depend on your mood of what game you want to play, and how you want to play it...
Example; God of war 3 for the PS3 (Which I can't wait for) This is obviously a solo player game, which is probably one of the best games to have if you are in the mood for a really long line of blood soaking head chopping killing spree action, while if you want to, Mario Kart for the Wii, is a great game to even play with friends, using the wheel you can almost feel like you're actually driving the kart, and I'm sure for anyone who has played this game, they've probably noticed themselves moving not just their hands in a direction while turning but their whole body, really getting into it...
Anyways, The Wii curently is dropped in price, but than again so did the new slimmer PS3, if you are wondering what is more worth it, I'd have to advise you to decide on which games you more prefer, and what kind of player you are...
Anyways that all aside GREAT COMICS!

I don't know about that. I plan on making a new issue of QCP which pokes fun at how the Wii always gets the dumbed down version of multiport games only with crappy motion control tacked on. That an all of the mini-game compilations.

Yeah... When it comes down to the Wii, they tend to either remake/re-polish the classics, make mini-game collections, or just make a crappy game that makes poor use of the Wii's motion controls.

The fact is~
PS3 is for people that want more action-realistic-super-quality games.
Wii is for people that want more fun-happy-cute-interactivity games.
And there are some people that wants both quality and interactivity \o/ And money for sure, to buy both consoles $x$
Well~ Since PSX I'm a Sony addict, but my boyfriend is both addict. He always get some cute games for NDS for me to play *u* I like gore, blood, horror, quality... but I'm still a girl and I cannot deny the cute things and interative games *O* Now I'm thinking of buying a NDS ^_^ But Lilly-chan (my PSP) won't be forgot x3

Well if you think about it...
Wii is kinda just gaming wirelessly and moving the controller (not saying its bad, I enjoyed playing it)
But the PS3 is all that with higher graphics and better gaming plus an easier controller
not insulting the Wii but I think PS3 is better
