It must be terrible having schizophrenia! Being two people without realizing it... sometimes, the mind is very scary.
I remember doing a school project about that mental illness, a long time ago.
Did Kolbe ever find out about his medical condition?
How did it start? There was some trauma to bring his other side to life? (Oh, no! I'm starting to acr like a psychologist again! X_X)

(Haha go on XD) Yes he found out, because he heard the other's voice when he was a teenager, and ever since he has talked to it. It started when he tried to do suicide and it forestalled it and used his body to bandange the cuts. And yes, he had traumas from other humans and he was raised by wolves.

I once read about a boy who survived in the wild, without ever having contacts with humans.
When he was found, a doctor tryed to halp him learning how to live with people, but the boy could never adapt to civil life and died (- being a psychologist again!).
Kolbe's story sounds like a horror tale... from one side, it is good that he could just get back to civil life... on the other side, living with a brocken mind must be terrible! Were there anyone who took care of him? Did he ever find any friend?

I've read that kind of things too, they are interesting.
Yeah, that usually happens because they are not in their natural environment.
He had not big problems because he was 11 when wolves adopted him, and he lived there a couple of years. Yep, his mother who dies when he was 11 and later a young doctor who was killed. He was Kolbe's only friend except the animals.

So, Kolbe escaped from humanity... I can understand that kind of feeling. Fun fact: when I was in my early teens, my best friend was my dog... I felt she was the only one who didn't lie to me nor wanted me to be different from the way I was. Strange, don't you think?

He was, he abandoned his wife and unborn child and told everyone that the woman was a gypsy witch, and their lives was torture and it ended to her death.
