Thank you so much! I tried this, and they turned out great! Would you mind if I used this to make brushes and put them up on DeviantART? I would link to your tutorial on how to make them.

Is it ok if I use it to make a site layout (when I learn how to properly code -.-) and still credit you?
btw I faved already

differentxdreamz In reply to gdpr-7842016 [2009-07-26 20:53:40 +0000 UTC]

As long as it's your own site, and you aren't selling the layout. Also, be sure to credit me somewhere on the actual website. (just put my username in size 8 font on one of the graphics or something!) =]

goldman456 In reply to ??? [2009-06-24 18:21:12 +0000 UTC]

Um, I have photoshop elemebts 6.0, but I can;t find the warp option...-_-'

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

differentxdreamz In reply to goldman456 [2009-06-25 03:07:49 +0000 UTC]

It should be the same for both PS & PS Elements. Go CRTL T, and find the button on the top right hand corner toolbar. By the way, the wrap tool is also known as free transform. That might be one of the reasons why you're having trouble finding it. Just hover your mouse over the buttons until you find it. LOL PS Elements DOES have the wrap/free transform tool. =]

Hope that helps~

The-Writer0 [2009-06-01 15:05:57 +0000 UTC]

Can this be done in GIMP, too?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

differentxdreamz In reply to The-Writer0 [2009-06-01 22:45:43 +0000 UTC]

GIMP does not have the warp option. The free transform option on GIMP can distort images, but cannot 'warp' them. Unless I wasn't using the right tool when I tried on GIMP... o.o

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Writer0 In reply to differentxdreamz [2009-06-02 00:43:03 +0000 UTC]

iWarp can be used in a similar manner as the Warp function. Granted, it's harder to use but still.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

differentxdreamz In reply to The-Writer0 [2009-06-02 00:58:35 +0000 UTC]

Then use iWarp.

I wish I knew that before I got PS. Then again, GIMP kept freezing on me.

Good luck!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Writer0 In reply to differentxdreamz [2009-06-02 02:01:33 +0000 UTC]

Generally, just as a refresher, iWarp in GIMP is similar to Liquify in PS.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

differentxdreamz In reply to The-Writer0 [2009-06-02 22:43:13 +0000 UTC]

You can try, but if you use liquidify in PS, it won't get the same results as warp.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Writer0 In reply to differentxdreamz [2009-06-02 23:30:55 +0000 UTC]

That IS true, but it's the closest I can think of to warp on GIMP. =/

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

The-Writer0 In reply to The-Writer0 [2009-06-01 19:12:39 +0000 UTC]

Actually, I'd like to convert it to gimp and post it on gimptalk if you are ok with it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

differentxdreamz In reply to The-Writer0 [2009-06-02 01:00:13 +0000 UTC]

Sure! As long as you credit me, and you post it only on gimptalk and do not post it on DA--or any other site. =]
