This was a collaboration piece done between me and my friend ~maikn ! She did the lines, and I did the colors. C: If you like this piece, I hope you'll take the time to tell her your appreciation too!
We sold so many copies of this at Fanime2010. We almost got rid of all of them!
I had lots of fun with this piece. It's such an honor to work with someone as talented as her~ <3 It took me almost half a week to finish it, though... I've gotten slower at cging lineart. Dx Just another piece in this con art craze spree thing. x]

I am a Masters student based in Perth WA currently completing an elective on Curatorship and exhibiting. I have to set up an exhibition

CREATIVE SUBMISSIONS WANTED
Ist Submission by 4th May
Artists, Filmmakers, Poets, Writers, Actors and Crafts persons
This is just the start.
Be involved in this exciting new project planned to be held at the fantastic Fremantle Art Centre in 2014
Limited spaces available.
There are several stages in the project:
(Persons completing first stage by the 4th May will be automatically in show)
- Your first response to the theme, word WONDERLAND
- β¦Quick sketches, poems, storyboards, ideas/film ideas, diagrams to be submitted jpg/word format, to be submitted in 3 days. (4th May). On the Facebook page. [link]
As weeks go buy, a piece of writing, a word, a piece of prose will be chosen as a challenge. Your audience will watch your challenges.
HOWEVER, YOU HAVE TO BE PART OF THE FIRST SUBMISSION TO BE PART OF IT.

The event will last for 14 days. There will be artwork on walls, in progress, read, acted and filmed.
Audiences will be invited to watch the progress on Facebook, on a Blog page, during the eventβ¦and purchase art, poems, and videos of performance on the day.
An Event submission will be placed to the Board of Fremantle Art Centre at the end of May.

if you read the deviation comments, you'll notice that it's a collaboration piece. my friend ~maikn (old account: ~sugar-esque ) drew the lines, and i colored the piece...which would explain why it doesn't look 'characteristic' of my work.

like I said, my friend ~maikn / (old account) ~sugar-esque drew the lines, and I colored it. you won't find it on google because no one else has posted it but us (because we made it), and we didn't post it anywhere else but on deviantart.
i think the fact that you can't find this artwork anywhere else is evidence in itself that we didn't steal this.
