Part of my KOF Redux series.In honor of the new KOF XII debut at the tokyo AOU trade show going on this weekend. If you haven't seen the trailer I highly recommend it, 2D games just got redefined.
K' from KOF. He has always been one of the coolest characters of the series, unfortunately his story seems a tad underdeveloped. Any how in this design you can see that his flame ability has gone out of his control a bit and started to envelope his entire arm. I got rid of the traditional leather jacket and chaps for a leather shirt and faded jeans. I was never a fan of the chaps to tell you the truth, it always looked a little weird given that I have never seen him actually on a motorcycle. I thought this outfit was a little more subtle but effective.
I wanted the shirt to mimic the one worn by Brandon Lee in the crow, really conforming to the body, I always loved that outfit he had. Of course the shirt used to be pristine but the fire has pretty much destroyed it on his arm.
Lastly I gave him hinge-less shades. Similar to the ones that Morpheus had in the Matrix, great design for shades.

K isn't my favorite character but this looks scary.Β There is such a story to this character with the flame going up his arm.Β It's tragic like he hates the fact that the flame is consuming him but he needs to keep using it to protect people.Β I'd love to have a story in this alternate universe.

Considering his KOF XIV special where he cringes in pain and says, βNigen naβ which, if Iβm not mistaken, means, βRunβ Iβd say this is a good direction for him. His power is beyond his control.

Hmm, when look at this outfit it doesn't say K' it looks like something more of Yashiro or Krizalid especially with that short hair, when I think of an alternate outfit for him, I would think of something like Nero from Devil May Cry. It's different yet believable. Not saying that I don't like it, I just don't think the outfit suits him.

K is all set to take a ride on his motorcycle. I approve of his biker attire and design. K always this rough around the edges manner to him.
I too loved the Crow. Major props for giving it a small tribute.

I think some people have actually made mugen characters out of some of my designs, I know I have seen sprites before of my version of Kyo

I like this remake quite a bit, although you should've kept the leather jacket (chaps idc about)

He looks like Krizalid than K'... And that hairstyle really doesn't match him.
Though this is still somewhat cool, I miss his original leather biker suit, it suits him really well.
Overall, this is not what I'd expect from K'... especially since you've made such great reduxes of KOF characters.
BTW have you done Maxima? He's a cyborg, and I bet that you'll have much imagination from there...
