Description
Probably 1/4, but I'm not gonna call it till they're all up2/x when its colored.
For:

If it's odd looking it's because I've been coloring it over the course of nearly two years.

Damn, I think I know that feel and it's almost painful when that happens to me.

All praises in the world for your coloring job, however...I'm slightly disturbed and confused as to why my Pony OC had to be melted down?
Care to explain the idea (since my design is involved in your work and all...)?

I won't come and take too much of your time explaining all the story behind the imagery ^^
But please rest assured...NO PONY was harmed during the making of this comic, and even by a little visual deduction we can see how, without opening the veil of plot, heh Β
1.) First image, third perspective. Everything is alright, and it's just a peaceful interraction.
2.) Image 2. Visual glitches which indicate that it's the point of view of the fella with the bionic body replacement (long story). Again, no one harmed.
3.) Image 3. Glitch intensifies....possibly physhological affiliation and indication of derreglations in the visual cortex of the brain. Perturbed imagery, potentially taken from the subconscious of the pony, explained by deep traumas or other experiences.Β
4.) Image 4. The perturbed cortex displays some disturbing imagery in his mind. NOTHING of this is real, and he is aware of that...but it's a very disturbing condition none the less. THis is borderline schitsofrenia with intensive hallucinations....though just borderline, he understand it's not real. Plus, if it were real and he's "incinerate her with lasers"....she would....I don't know SCREAM IN AGONY
Not smile ^^
So please, he is not a monster ^^ As much as he is alienated at least ^^

Oooooww poor guy
I know the feeling, thank goodness most of the time I'm not with anyway IRL to see morphed.
I thought the smile was just her loosing control of her jaw and stuff from it coming apart adding to the creepiness. But I'm glad it's just hallucinations.

A bit yes.....
You talk now of your real self or your OC suffering from a resembling condition ? Sorry to ask ^^
Well, while I admit this would make for a nice twist This just isn't that type of story
Now, they are pretty good friends really (at least I hope so ^^ i.ytimg.com/vi/g8xxobCKeMA/hqd⦠)

Oh dear...I'm really sorry to hear that Β
What exactly is the issue ? ( Is there any way to deal with it permanently ?Β

KieDough In reply to RollsRocker [2015-07-10 09:16:24 +0000 UTC]
I'll randomnly open my eyes while sleeping and superimpose stuff IRL, I've seen children fall into industrial shredders and ripped my bed apart in my sleep, literally lifting my mattress over my head and throwing out of the way trying to get to where they 'fell' 1 day I thought my gamepad was a time bomb and took it downstairs. The funnest was seeing a 5 story Sweetie Belle off 300meters from my house knocking over trees for a few seconds.
Nothing detrimental to normal life really other than having crap sleep, and it's hit and miss, I'll have it for 2-4 weeks straight every night and then be fine for months. Thanks for your concern though

Oh dear...those are quite some horrid nightmares...
You should go to a psychotherapist and try to sort this all out. This is perhaps just your bubconsciout trying to get a message to you Some tragic experince that needs work, or a subconcious fear you might have...it needs work mate !
But don't worry, this isn't skytsofrnia ^^ Skytsofrenia is when you see hallucinations in the DAY time ! When you go in the bus and you see out of the window aliens invading or fires and stuff like that ^^ You don't have that You just need some work with your inner self, some realisations and conclusions
Β
But I am still really sorry to hear that Β

Are you taking a major in this stuff O_O
It's probably just my current place where I live it usually starts when my landlord comes, I don't get any art work done then, and usually try doing to many things in 1 day. Either way I don't go to doctors especially after my surprise visit after 12 years my mom gave me, $1800 for some glue on my thumb and a tetanus shot.

RollsRocker In reply to KieDough [2015-07-11 08:51:01 +0000 UTC]
Not really XD But I did read a lot on this Β
Well that's it, you got a lot of anxiety and stress related to your current living conditions. Trust me, after this year...I know how quickly a bad landlord can ruin your day...I really do...
You got to work this out, learn to block out all those annying thought, or find a way to let all those bottled emotions out...preferrably a constructive way...
Yeah, don't start me on doctors. My mother is actually a PhD in psychology and a psychotherapist....and while she is highly competent in her work, and can fix up anyone in a jiffy....most of them really are a bit of bastards, only keeping you sick so they could invite you to more therapy.Β
THis sucks mate...sorry (
As far as I know (and I' not too reliable), you need some real work on those issues...try to look inside of you, talk with your subconscious sort of speaking, it holds a lot more answers than you know. And be careful if you ever decide to reside to medical help in the refined domain of the physhic....this domain is tricky and risky.Β
All the best !!!

Thanks for the words of wisdom!
And yeah I know someone that used to or still does deep sleep therapy and it's like they got addicted to it. Trust me I'll never do that.
I have a feeling your mom made a good influence

RollsRocker In reply to KieDough [2015-07-11 09:30:17 +0000 UTC]
Well no, deep sleep, if done wrong can be pretty bad. Usually it's take about 2-3 seances MAX to find out the issue and fix it..... The best is hypnosis....which isn't like it's depicted in cartoons with the pocket watches and such Β
Well, she tried at least But I got a ton of such books in my house and a nice medium to learn some things in free time ^_^
Good luck out there, and be strong !
PS: Damn those nasty landlords

it takes over two years to color something as good as this?!?! wow i lost total interest on doing pictures :L
π: 0 β©: 1
DimFann In reply to werslon [2015-07-08 00:31:26 +0000 UTC]
It was very off and on, and the result of a lot of revisitation. Lots of work being done and undone, so I wasn't just slaving away for two years straight . All in all I'd probably clock the color work in at about 12Β hours (give or take) simply because the image is very large.

so what you say is that you took two years to make the most perfect colorationΒ Β , if that's not dedication, i don't know what it is... jk it probably isΒ OCPD, but still nice work.

Compression artefacts in the background...
Floating-point rounding errors on Pink Pony's vertex shaders...
This must be the digital equivalent of cataracts and astigmatism for for that older TRON Pony there. I hope he can visit a good optometrist and get some new vision drivers. Hopefully his insurance covers 64-bit versions.
