Years ago I was in a black & white film a friend was making for his graduation project at Emerson film school in Boston. It was about a group of individuals much like this all sitting around a table debating politics while playing a game of Risk and deciding the fate of the world. One of the scenes was very, very similar to this. In fact the characters were in almost the same exact poses. The lighting was very much the same as well. It's like I'm looking at a scene from my memory only the characters are ponies instead of people.Β
It's very weird but also kinda cool. At any rate nice use of light and shadow here. I really love their expressions. This would work very well as a storyboard (I was storyboard artist on the show and this is very similar to the board I drew back then, too). Excellent work. Thank you for the weird but cool memory, too.Β

Very good Spike. Was there anything in particular the recon team noted in their report?
They noted something particular about the citizenry.
It says here they have the weirdest of smiles, have the same mane styles and the same tail styles as well.
Nothing in the report gave concrete proof as to what or why the citizenry behaves like this, but we suspect it has something to do with the unusual magic disturbances our sensors have picked up.
What we need to do is stop dancing around this foal poop and get in there with a full fledged investigation!
I agree. We can not let these disturbances continue for much longer. Mares, get a good night's rest, at 07:00, we ship out tomorrow.
