Description
Here we go! I don't have a lot of experience drawing mastiff-type dogs, so he'll be fun to learn. I'm also trying to think of more weaknesses/neutral qualities for him, so please let me know if you have any suggestions.

RP SAMPLE/IT AIN'T EASY BEIN FABULOUS

Name: Vegas
Gender: Male (unaltered)
Breed: Fila Brasileiro
Age: Five
Height: 30 inches
Weight: 200 lbs
Personality: Vegas is a quiet, gentle soul. He loves to cuddle those close to him as much as he can without harming them; his spike collar is an asset in battle, but not in day to day life. He was debarked at a young age, which makes his voice raspy and soft, so he prefers not to speak much. His barks are also quiet, but if he really strains himself he can produce a bark as loud and deep as if he had never been debarked. He is extremely obedient to his boss, and will often follow orders with no hesitation. Unless the order would harm another soul he loves, he follows directions to a t. He has much love for little old ladies and small children, but could care less for every other human on the planet unless they give him reason to trust them. He is wary and aggressive towards strangers, and can become incredibly violent in an instant. He is intelligent and knows many useful tricks, such as opening doors, turning lights on and off, and using older tvs and radios with large buttons. Vegas is not a submissive creature, but he is not overly dominant. His very air commands respect.
History: Vegas was born to a large litter, and removed from his mother at only a month old. He was sold to an elderly woman, who had the time to bottle feed and raise him from the ground up. He was taught perfect manners around her and around other dogs by the woman's crotchety old chihuahua mix. He became fiercely protective of the old woman, and would often lunge at passersby on their walks. With plenty of time and money, the Fila's master taught him all sorts of useful tricks that helped her out around her house and with his own care. Shortly before his fourth birthday, his master fell ill and called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. As a guardian breed, Vegas did his job and tore up several arms before animal control was able to subdue him and lock him in the backyard. His master returned home a few days later, and life returned to normal. On one of their walks, a jogger didn't give them what he felt to be enough room, so he bit the man severely. The next day, a police officer came to the door, bringing the news that Vegas was to be the subject of a dangerous dog hearing. Rather than face the music and be forced to put her beloved Fila to sleep, the old woman drove Vegas to the city of the mafia hounds and dropped him off.
Strengths: Vegas is a big, heavy, strong beast. He is quick and agile for his size, and all his excess skin makes it very difficult to harm him in a fight. He is intelligent and knows a thing or two about human technology. His spike collar provides him extra protection in scuffles, and he knows how to throw his weight around and do damage with it.
Neutral:
Weaknesses: His ears are fairly long and sensitive, forcing him to adjust his battle style to try to protect them. His hips can slow him down in cold weather or if he goes too long on asphalt or at a run. He doesn't know when to quit, and will continue fighting until he's told he can stop or retreat.
Reasons for Joining: Without his master, he has little sense of purpose. He feels he can be useful to the Di Trieste, and he will have to opportunity to be part of a family.

Current Status:
Rather healthy, but somewhat depressed from being abandoned. He's more quiet than usual (if that's even possible) and his appetite is struggling, causing him to eat slowly. After his initiation, he has a forest green scarf wrapped around his neck, hiding his collar but not hindering it's use.
