The Pygmy Kirin (D. laponica parvus) is a very Small sized version of the Imperial Kirin (www.deviantart.com/dino1998/ar… ) but unlike the larger ones this one is more elusive much like the Chevrotain (thanks to it's dark colorations and patterns on their fur for camouflage) even though they live in small groups living in forests foraging for flowers, fruit and fungi and just like the Chevrotain they can dive and swim underwater and hold their breath for 4 minutes. Like all Kirins and Qilins these guys specifically the males have bright colored faces, the females have dull colors and the Foals are light it color on the fur..... although these guys are everywhere an encounter with one or finding one is almost impossible.... but not "impossible"
