Description For my FireMan.EXE project, I decided to create my own original environment rather than going for simple floor panels as seen in the regular BattleNetwork boss fights. So this is basically his "boss room." I already have FireMan.EXE finished in my scraps, and tonight I'll be running the final render of everything together to be posted tomorrow evening.

No textures, everything is fully modeled and the total polygon count for everything in the scene is 334,290 before subdivision. I can tell you the pipe's junctions were fun to make But I'm happy with how they turned out and I could easily use them for other projects now! The wavy plane underneath the room will be lava, and the largest pipes leading up towards the ceiling was inspired from a nuclear reactor.

Coming up, the final (full colored ) image!

Pretty cool. Was this 3dsMax or Maya or something else?

Also, how did you set up the lighting like that?

It's modeled and rendered in Softimage|XSI... There's no actual lighting, I applied an Ambient Occlusion lens shader to the camera so it gave that nice clean look regardless of where I had the camera aimed.

Thank you so much and thank you for the favorite, too. They both mean a lot to me.
