Description
Hunh. Unsure how I feel about this, may move to scraps as soon as I finally find out how to do that.A hideout of another character of mine. Experimenting with my cut walls and starting to wonder whether I should figure out how to make game models and just release my own tile set - two of the objects in this image were heavily shopped to look like they do.
Anyway, not all my runners are messy people like Perry. Unfortunatly, that makes this map a lot less interesting to look at. Still, it's a new map. yay!
Edit: I changed the table. It is nicer now. It looks actually large and solid.

I made them in the mod engine of Shadowrun Returns. I made them for myself, form my character and her hideout in this case, the others are for another character's hideout and for a run, a boss stage map.
Perry is in a bit of a messy situation, having left Seattle heads over heels to get away from a terrible breakup. He found a dumpy apartment in a decreipt apartment block in Newark (worst part of the New York New Jersey conurbation). The place is optimized for defense with his means available - the matress he sleeps on is behind the sofa, so it cannot be seen from the entrance, and he has his guns handy next to it.
Tara's hideout here is much neater, because Tara is a much neater person and much more professional and on top of things as Perry is. It's furnished to keep a team of four for a few days, has armaments and equipment, and a holding room in case there are prisoners to talk to/squeeze. It used to be a serial killer's hideout, which makes it hard for sorcerers to track you there because of all the interference from people being tortured to death there.
The large luxury apartment is where one Jeremy Coda lives, target of an extraction and a top programmer. It'S where the team ina long dormant run has to break into to get the guy. It also has all the anemeties, though it'S a wee bit large for one person.

Gefällt mir. Der SRR-Editor ist wohl der erste Game-Editor mit dem ich mich tatsächlich beschäftige. Spiele das P&P seit der 2. Edition. Kennst du ein gutes Tutorial für komplette Noobs?

Buy Shadowrun Returns, it's some $18 on Steam. The Editor comes with the game.

Yup, it's a safehouse for an entire team. With a room to talk to special guests.

Do their shenanigans end with them waiting out the heat here very often?

Fortunately not, but it's a favourite to bring people for interrogation. The place also has a very bad astral vibe, so it's moderately mage-proof.

Leider.

On the bright-side, I look at that torture chair in the lonely room and have wonderful ideas!
Hideout, huh? Did you use the Safehouses book to build it?

DirkLoechel In reply to CanRay [2013-07-29 21:04:19 +0000 UTC]
It's actually been in service since 3E, but I rebuilt it with Safehouses - like most of my characters' boltholes and hideouts, including a house boat. Always wanted a character to have a house boat, and finally there's rules on how to use a vehicle as a home.
I do hope a Safehouses 5E file will eventually be made. At least CGL put lifestyle options in the core book now, which is one of the good things about SR5.
