This is a classic angle to depict the Habu from, but the light and the semi-fisheye cutoffs in the corners are anything but normal.

A friend of mine who was a Marine was once stationed at the base the USMC housed the SR-71.

He told me he was asked if he'd ever seen an SR-71, but answered he only knows what it is, so they told them they housed it there, and showed him to some structure where you safety watch them take off. He told me the afterburner flames from one he watch take off extended over 100 feet from the rear of the aircraft. That was enough to make my jaw drop and make me go "HOLY SHIT!" Not many can see they got to see one personally, let alone watch take off. Envious aerospace nerd here.

Late 1980's there was a fly-by at the Reno Air Races after they ran a mission.  Spotted the craft while the current race finished (unlimited semi-finals).  The SR71 came right down the runway in front of the grand stands.  Middle of the runway he lights off the afterburners and stands it on its tail and is gone.  Headed back to Beale where this was stationed.  Loud.  Very very loud.
