9th January 2017 - the Half-Blood Prince has turned 57 years old.
Happy Birthday and many happy returns!! 
For my tribute I've used Β as reference a photo of Alan Rickman, which I find not exactly flattering. Turning it into The Potions Master makes it a lot easier on the eye - not because my treatment was particular artful - Severus Snape is simply too fabulous a subject!!

I used a photo that looked nothing like the end result - if I do that much work on a photo, or scan in a sketch, it goes under " Digital Painting"Β

I know this exact picture of AR (I have it somewhere - will have to try and find it now!) I can never forget dearΒ Sev's birthday as it's just 4 days ahead of my own dear hubby's - and, as I cheerfully reminded him just the other day, 57 is a mere 3 years short of 60!!!
SS wears it well though!
And this is a great piece of artwork - love it in fact!!! Β
