This is a really interesting shot. I like the intensity in his eyes. Very vivid. A little disturbed, though. That is a compliment, btw.

OMG !
This is crazy. I saw this like a year ago on photosig.com. In fact, I probably sent you a message regarding the use of it. Then photosig went to the crapper by being subscriber only. So, I might have not gotten your message. I used your picture for reference here [link] . Anyways this is a great shot. The soldier's expression is great. Kudos on the shot.

Thanks so much for the comments.
The fact that you can remember seeing this more than a year ago is wild! I just looked at your artwork and it was really strange to see my picture incorporated in your art work.
This picture, along with several others will be displayed in a group exhibit in a few weeks. If you happen to be in the area of Be'er Sheva, Israel....Come and take a look!

That's a great shot. Did you just stumble across this scene? As you wrote it was moments after the firing, I can hardly imagine anyone dropping in there just for a pic...

Your picture definately tells a story..... Which is very rare nowadays.
You mostly only find it in artists like yourself - who use the traditional film medium.. Digital is opening up everyone's eyes, but not as many people are grasping that you need to tell a story without any words...
You've done a superbe job, I love it!

Thank you so much for your kind comments! This picture along with several others is going to be on display at the end of the month as part of a group exhibit.
The truth is, these days most of what I shoot is digital. But I still love my Canon FD lenses, my AE1 program and my T90.
Take a peek at my picture "New York State of Mind". It was taken with the T90 and a 16mm. Zenitar lens on Fuji Provia.
