Description
Today I went to the monument to meet with the WWII Soviet veterans who saved us many years ago from the Nazis. While everyone was thanking this veteran he was crying..he couldn't say a word..he was happy that people remember their deeds..and remember people and soldiers who died during the war. I thank all the veterans who fought and made our world a better place.UPDATE: I got rid of the stroke and the USSR stars near my signature. This photo doesn't need decorations.
update2: minor color adjustments
Update DD: Thank you $Moonbeam13 and a friend who suggested (remained anonymous) Thank you, friends for all your comments! I will try to answer all the questions and comments! Thank you again!

I really like this photo, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I wonder how it must feel to have fought for something that doesn't exist anymore :/ But this man has put his life on the line for the people, and for this he must be remembered.

Very nice, but tearful photo.
A big-big thanks to these people for their heroism and sacrifices... I`m from Russia so veterans for me are smth bigger just the heroes.

I'm with xxbageixx on this one. The emotion is perfectly captured.
I'm ever grateful to the veterans. It's scary to think what the world would be like if Hitler had won.

This could be the best picture I have ever seen. The people all around him, the choice of black and white and the further choice to leave the symbol in color.
But more than anything this photo is perfect because it speaks to me deeply. I am in no way shape or form a verteran. But you were able to show me the deep hurt that still remains. The horror of that awful war will resonate for generations. And here you have perfectly orchestrated it.
Thank you for this amazing photo
