Though all the workers had long been evacuated, her wholesale destruction of the mine (which had been encroaching on a relative's farmland) still shocked many throughout Equestria; especially industrialists.

This soured international relationships between Equestria and other nations for years afterwards as well as aggravating ethnic tensions, with Earth-ponies being seen by some fearful people as potential threats of literally earth-shaking proportions..."
