An attempt to loosen up with my lines as well as draw women - something I rarely do.....And why does Yue look so sad?
Cause you're looking at art instead of drawing her. She needs fanartz, yo. So does Jun.

Jun is actually HOT. so is Azula. Toph and Yun are pretty; you drew all so realistically, it actually looks like it could be them.....the facial features are so realistic, too. my favs are jun, tsuki, and azula

I used regular drawing paper (I usually use bristol though- it has a very smooth surface that's great for detail work). I sketched out the heads with 4H, and used up to 6B for the darks, plus a mechanical pencil for detail work.

It's always, "No mother, I want drawing paper," around here. Drawing paper and computer paper seem to be the same thing for my parents, as well as normal/drawing pencils.
I usually get quality art supplies over Christmas from my cousin, who knows the value of good paper and pencils. I am lucky to have her, really.
Jun is amazing, and she does deserve more fanart than she has.

I learned on computer paper - it's fine for sketching and whatnot, but for texturing and deep values it's not going to cut the mustard.
And yes, Jun does need more fanart. X333

This is gorgeous work. I love how well the ladies transitioned to a realistic style! A special congratulations for making each of them distinctly themselves: often, I see artists who, while they draw beautifully, don't differentiate their faces and rely on hairstyles to illustrate different characters.

I was planning on using Jun in my fanfic, but decided not. I agree with the title. Katara's got, what, 8,000 individual pieces, while Yue has only 200? What's with that?
