An attempt to loosen up with my lines as well as draw women - something I rarely do.....And why does Yue look so sad?
Cause you're looking at art instead of drawing her. She needs fanartz, yo. So does Jun.

Well I wouldn't call her a Mary-sue, but Katara definately has alot of fanart. I just like to see other characters get some art love. :3

I think she's a mary-sue. My reasons:
-1,2,3...4 guys she is paired with, and has come in contact with and befriended 3/4 of them. (Not including Zuko, dud 
-Gorgeous, sexy, beautiful,etc.
-Water is(since Katara has it) a now beautiful, hot, mysterious, favored by alot element which OC's are mainly based on (well...usually...)
-Long, flowing hair
-Great figure
-Is usually right, saves the day, supergirl (sometimes)
-FIRST female waterbender up in the North Pole
-Mother died, has a ENGAGMENT chocker, in which she mourns and gets emo over.
I think that's it. But it's good that you don't think so...

Mary Sues are usually FAN BASED characters that appear in fanfiction.
I think the reason that Katara gets a lot of flack for the only reason that she just exists, and fangirl-based feelings towards characters of their own gender and self-insertion towards such characters.
Because one minute people are criticizing Katara for being too "Goody-goody" the next thing is that they're criticizing her for doing something wrong. It's very inconsistent.
She's a human character with faults and weaknessess, just as any other female character. [/rant]

Jun is just...gorgeous. Never thought I'd say that about her....
Actually, today, I drew Toph's profile for the first time, thereby making my first Toph drawing! And you know what I found? Toph has an EASY profile! Strangely...of course, I only know one expression and one side, but...it's a start.
Yeah, I've only drawn Katara...a few times. Her hair loopies continue to defy me.
Mai, Ty Lee, and Azula, though...fun to draw.

Although I'm not gonna lie, I'm happy there's a lot of Katara Fanart, because there's barely any Katara FanVid's, well, at least one with just her and not her and zuko/aang/jet/haru/or any other guy.
