So according to the polls it looks like you guys prefered a video game based on The goblin of Dornenholtz AU. Which is good, because I already had some concept art and story ideas in the works for this story. Here are some screenshots from playtesting the game and what I've got in the works so far...

I'm keeping this game really short and simple. Just a fun side adventure. where you might meet some important characters....

The concept I'm playing with involves Fergus translating an ancient book into german. He got the book from a traveler who gave him a good price because he had multiple copies and couldn't read it. The dialect the book is written in is all but dead. Fergus is one of the few still alive who could read or write it. (kizzy taught him)

So he works diligently to preserve the memories by translating them.

When Fergus is away for the day Nule goes to get more ink for his accounting and tumps the entire inkwell over the book, ruining it.

Overcome with guilt, Nule takes the ruined book and runs away vowing to find the traveler and trade the ruined book for another copy before the traveler leaves the north for good.

I'm about 75% finished with the first level. The most time consuming part is doing the art for the cutscenes. X___X The program is easy to use so the scripting doesn't take too long.
