Description
"There was a vast emptiness...desolate...lonely...a void lay before my eyes. From my will, I birthed my children; Giratina, guardian of Life, Palkia, ruler of Space, Dialga, master of time, Uxie, embodiment of knowledge, Mesprit, bestower of emotion, and Azelf, the overseer of Will. I led my children to create the universe, lending them fragments of my own being to craft it from. Now my gaze rested upon this wonderous field, but still something was missing. I had given life to my children, why not more? With this thought, I gave life to three titans; Groudon of the Land, Kyorge of the Sea, and Rayquaza of the Sky. These three put their powers to use and crafted various worlds, but they could not cooperate most times, and many of these worlds were unbalanced. I urged them to craft one last one in which they would all live. They could see that to live together, they most set boundaries to what they created for this planet. Groudon crafted the land masses, Kyorge filled the oceans, and Rayquaza filled the skies. I wanted them to share this world as their home, so I let them live their lives as I turned to another goal. I could not have foreseen what would happen next.
Giratina had set forth a plan to throw this new world into chaos. He urged Groudon and Kyorge into a battle that would last centuries. I had intrusted my children to live without my constant observation, and this is what would happen? I could not allow Giratina to go unpunished for this, but what could I do? I decided to banish Giratina into the next world, but with Life gone, would chaos reign?
Rayquaza took it upon himself to quell the battle between Groudon and Kyorge, and the two tired titans feel into a deep sleep, resting beneath earth and sea. With peace returning to this young world, I crafted three more children, Lugia, Regigigas, and Ho-oh, and prepared to punish my renegade son. I banished him to a spiritual world, where I decided he would reign over Death, while Ho-oh would be given reign over Life in his stead. I sent Lugia and Regigigas to reside over Sea and Land until the rightful rulers would awaken and take their rightful places. With matters settled, I gave the new world my personal blessing; Mew, a young and innocent life who would have the gift to bring more creatures to this world. This creature would not be blessed with the longevity of the children I birthed, but they will have this world for themselves. They will grow...they will learn...they will live. I decided to let this world grow, and turn my attention to other matters."
There...not perfect, but how else could I try to describe the views, life, and decisions of a god? And yes, I do give legendaries genders. For instance, I personally view Kyorge as female while Groudon is a male.

I personally like the green, but I think the grey leaves a lot to be desired. :/ Thanks, nonetheless.

You're so good at this realistic styling of pokemon D:
I think this is my favorite realistic Arceus so far

Thanks. Most people seem intent on giving Arceus a fierce look, but I prefer a softer image like this since most would expect a god to be benevolent.
Glad you like, Prinny.

Well, what better place to put such history than with the creature that started it all? Heh. Glad you like it, San.

Great job with both the picture and the background story. I would really like to see the whole thing of this sometime. In the text you mentioned most of the legendaries and gave them origins, but what about the Kanto birds, the Johto dogs, the other Regis and the rest of the legendaries from Shinno?

Let's see...I'm still working on the legendary birds, since there really hasn't been anything close to an origin for them. The Johto dogs are said to have been brought to life by Ho-oh, and many speculate that before being reborn, they were average Pokemon, with Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon being the most popular suspects. The Regis I honestly think were crafted by Regigigas himself, as a way to limit his own strength, and to possibly have his own underlings.
I've got some explanations for virtually every legendary, some just need fine toning. Glad ya like my take on Arceus and the backstory, too.
