Description
Alternative version of the Sleeping Beauty final scene. Take a close look to see why. I consider the old Disney 50's Maleficent the very first dragon that inspired me when I was a kid. Thanks to her, I started to show interest in dragons, even though she is not a real one. I hope you guys like the picture, at least as much as I enjoyed doing it!Btw, I'm working on a Patreon account, so this picture will be available there as wallpaper at hi-res without watermarks, so please stay tuned until I announce it! In the comments I read he is going to loose because of the broken sword, but to me it looks like the tower is burning. Which would mean Aurora is dead, even if Phillip manages to win somehow.
I am kind of torn a bout this tho XD I totally get why Maleficient was offended by the way she was treated, she had every right to be. But going all end of the world on everyone was kind of taking it too far xD

I wonder if that shield has Perfect Diamonds socketed into it which gives resistance to elements. Even with that you'd need Ice Armor to keep from the surrounding flames from sucking the stamina out of you. Looks like the Dragon is capable of Poison damage. Good art work here.

"Alternate version" means alternate ending- So, the prince does a "Donkey" and "boinks" the dragon instead?
Seriously though, I credit Maleficent as a large part of my love for epic fantasy dragons, knights and castles. This is a fantastic[al] arrangement, and I see that you have many more in your gallery!

The original fight scene in the old sleeping beauty is actually not bad, although still child friendly it's better than a lot of modern fights in movies.
This picture shows an alternative outcome which highlights the peril of the fight. He hasn't quite lost yet but the broken sword shows that he can't win. Although the prince will lose, he's not going out as a coward.
We're miles away from the Disney artwork style but the structure of the castle in the background reminds you of the inspiration.
