Description
Alternative version of the Sleeping Beauty final scene. Take a close look to see why. I consider the old Disney 50's Maleficent the very first dragon that inspired me when I was a kid. Thanks to her, I started to show interest in dragons, even though she is not a real one. I hope you guys like the picture, at least as much as I enjoyed doing it!Btw, I'm working on a Patreon account, so this picture will be available there as wallpaper at hi-res without watermarks, so please stay tuned until I announce it! To be honest, I don't know...
I am a sucker for alternative history, wether or not it is fiction or real life. So seeing her winning is really fascinating and somehow... satisfying. Because it is drawn really damn well. The scales of the dragon, borax hued fire, how the knight can beraly stand against the dragon... it looks really awesome.
But at the same time, I am stounchly for "Good must prevail". So it is kinda heartbreaking to see someone who is vile as Maleficent would win. Because deep down, I want her to annihilated for her malice and vile ways.
Then again, I would imagine someone greater would come and slay her in somekind of alternative universe, here she rules the land.
So to say which is stronger... I guess it would be "yes" reaction. Though "no" reaction is also very strong within me.
