I would say these beings doesn't target realities with purposes, they are just devices that help other beings that actually have a goal to create a change on reality for whatever reason.
These creatures doesn't need totally to feed or gain energy only when they need to modify reality so yeah, they doesn't have similar needs to a material world.Β
